Cycle Sport NZ Ltd was founded in 1986 as a division of the nationally known
engineering supplies company General Machinery Co Ltd.
In 2004 the division had grown to the point where it needed to be established
as a separate company and Ron Cheatley who was the general manager of both General
Machinery Co Ltd and Cycle Sport NZ took over the total ownership of the company.
Up to this time Ron had also been the national team cycling coach (firstly road
- then track) for a 20 year period retiring from this position after the Sydney
Olympics in 2000.
CSNZ Ltd growth has been due to its recognition nationally as an exclusive distributor
of quality and world renown brands and our reputation of having highly qualified
employees who are quickly accessible to our customer base.
We are an importing wholesale distribution company to the bicycle and sporting
dealer network.
However we do have a 'Close Out
Stock' section that is available to the consumer and these products can
be purchased online.
