Domane or Madone.. It's Win Win
Posted on 02-05-2013
In case you’ve been hiding under a rock for the last few weeks, Trek road bikes were ridden to victory in four of the biggest one-day classics for 2013.
This is huge for so many reasons, Gerald Ciolek got the first race victory for the first ever Pro-Continental team from Africa, MTN Qhubeka.
He was riding a Madone 7.9, and was followed closely by Fabian Cancellara who finished 3rd.
Fabian Cancellara, who had a rough start to 2012, breaking his collarbone at Flanders, has come into 2013 on fire!
Showing his “follow me if you can” attitude, he stormed to victory at E3 Harelbeke and followed up with the Flanders/Roubaix double for the second time in his career.
As always Fabian was supported by his Kiwi teammates Hayden Roulston and Jesse Sergent.
Anyone who got to watch Flanders would have seen Roly driving the race with his NZ Champions jersey for the better part of 100km!

The Giro d'Italia will begin on May 4th, Keep an eye out for our 3 kiwi boys George Bennett, Jesse Sergent and NZ Road Champ Hayden Roulston showing them hows it's done in Italy.
